Activities

A continuing activity is mainly aimed at describing the distribution of hyperbenthic and epibenthic malacostracan crustaceans in deep fjords and the deeper parts of the Norwegian Sea, including the shelf areas of Norway, the Faroe Islands and Iceland. Studies of the natural history of lesser known species are an integral part of these activities. A recent project investigates the possible existence of definable biogeographical subregions along the coast of Norway.
