Master's degree in Marine and Coastal Sciences (specializing in the environment), from Agostinho Neto University (Angola). Currently an employee of the National Institute of Fisheries and Marine Research (INIPM), Department of the Environment. I have been working in the area of scientific research for over 20 years, more specifically in biological oceanography (dynamics of phytoplankton assemblages and harmful algae blooms), experience in the analysis of biological and physical-chemical data, publication of scientific papers in international and national journals. Participated in scientific research cruises along the Angolan coast, aboard the Norwegian research vessel Dr. Fridjoft Nansen. I participated in the project: LuandaWaterFront - Ecological assessment of Luanda Bay: an approach to reduce environmental risks and increase quality of life (Ref: 33391101), funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and the TRIATLAS project - Climate-based marine ecosystem forecasting of the South Atlantic and tropical for sustainable management (Ref: 817578), funded by the European Union (Horizon 2020).
