Project Manager for the United States Antarctic Program (USAP). Primary responsibilities are management of the planning support and budgets for the National Science Foundation (NSF) marine science projects sailing aboard the NSF contracted Antarctic research vessels the RV/IB Nathaniel B. Palmer and the ASRV Laurence M. Gould. Serve as primary interface for NSF grantees, the NSF, and other agencies within an assigned portfolio of NSF projects. Review and evaluate NSF proposals and operational requirements in conjunction with the NSF program managers to determine appropriate level and method of logistical science support for a pending project. Oversee NSF funded project budgets. Sail aboard NSF research vessels as Marine Projects Manager.
