Manipulation of ocean data analysis and reanalysis related to the Mediterranean Sea circulation model of the COPERNICUS project.
Participating in the European project MELODIES, a Cloud archive containing both the data and open source languages and tools to calculate basin means, climatological and derived fields.
Participating to Mediterranean RITMARE project, in order to do an evaluation between its analysis and forecasting model versus the COPERNICUS.
Creation of a Integrated operational tool for ocean observations reprocessing and ocean models evaluation, using statistic and qualitative data analysis from fixed sea insitu platforms.
Partecipating to SEADATACLOUD project, in order to create the first release of the Mediterranean variational analyzed fields of Temperature and Salinity from ocean observations profiles.

Computer skills and competences
I am an advanced programmer in TeX, Matlab, Fortran, bash and Python languages, and I have
good skills in C and C++ languages. I can use both text editors and IDEs to manage software
deploying, updating and debugging (Jet Braims suite, Eclipse).
I have an advanced knowledge in HDF - netCDF databases manipulation, I am a moderate user
of parallelizing methods (MPI, OpenMP) and vector machines; I can use VPNs, sandboxes,
distributed storage solutions such as Apache Hadoop and I can manage distributed workflows
automation. I am a novice to machine learning techniques.
I am an administrator-level user on Unix-like (Android, Linux, OS X) and Windows Operating
systems. I have excellent Internet, Portable Document Format and Office suites skills with
ECDL (European Computer Driving License), I know very well various data transmission networks
(radio, narrow-band, broadband, satellite).
I have a good knowledge in machine and web languages (HTML, XML, PHP).
I have a good knowledge in audio-video and image editing applications and instruments (Adobe
Photoshop, Corel Suite, Cakewalk software, Gimp, Sony Creative Suite.)
Technical skills and competences
I am interested in information technology and in the electronics world. I acquired these experiences
in the free time and during occasional jobs.
I have a good ability in the audio and video editing area. I can build and manage audio mixing
systems, I have a good experience as phonic and in digital synthesization. I have good systems
analyst skills (especially in creation), network management and computers, from both software,
hardware and modding point of view.
I know micro welding rudiments. I am able to carry out repairs to electronic equipment such as
computers, electrical appliances, and home automation.
I have some experience as an electrician and in Hi-Fi systems. I can assemble various wiring
types, such as antennas, direct and alternate current, television, audio and video.
In recent years, I developed a good knowledge in the fields of automotive mechanics and
electronics, learning to make some repairs and customizations.
