Skills
I have a MSc in Oceanography and Fisheries with skills to work with data from remote sensing systems. I am interested in studying the ecology and movement patterns of migratory species, by understanding the factors that influence habitat utilization throughout different life stages, employing distribution models. By doing so, I aim to enhance conservation efforts for marine megafauna surrounding marine protected areas and oceanic islands.
Comment(s)
A multidisciplinary approach to studying human impacts on marine megafauna in coastal areas, remote archipelagos, and MPAs. I aspire to work as a conservationist and consultant for MPAs, implementing management plans, studying fishing pressure, and addressing anthropogenic threats. Remote sensing tools, such as biotelemetry, particularly interest me in conducting large-scale research on pelagic and coastal animals.
