Oversaw billfish data collection at key study sites, contributed to fish identification and taxonomic work, involved in community conservation efforts through the creation of awareness for data collection and reporting, co-led data analysis and technical report writing, dissemination of research outputs and capture of photographic content.

As a field research assistant, I have actively collected ecological and social data, compiled photographic content and engaged different stakeholders. These skills are relevant in driving the research activities particularly on acquiring social data, capturing short films and recording narratives. My experience in data collection, inputting, and analysis will be relevant for coordinating the comprehensive data for the proposed work. Given that this work will involve firsthand narration of experiences and perspectives of stakeholders, my knowledge and skillset in fish identification will be central in ensuring that the fishers and stakeholders correctly identify billfish.
