The background in oceanology and the work with ecosystem services and the importance of systemic vision between benefits derived from ecosystems and economic and social activities, gave me the opportunity to design models and implement tools in academia together with research groups from different universities, which help to understand relationship between public policies and importance of ecosystem services. Participation with public-private projects, which involved development of new proposals for environmental analyzes through modeling of ecosystem services, identifying losses and needs of public managment policies, have also brought learning and new challenges in relation to systemic analysis.
