¨      Envisaged, developed, demonstrated and implemented several innovative (first national instance by Govt. fisheries institute) climate resilient solutions

¨      Front line of association in fostering collaboration (MoU and Technology Transfer) between esteemed national institutions SAC-ISRO and ICAR-CMFRI towards national wetland monitoring/advisories system development.

¨      Successful multi institutional scientific and technical interactions with various Directors, Head of Departments, Scientists, Officials, Scholars Project staffs and Farmers towards multidisciplinary strategic research and effective attainment of project milestones.

Field Research

 ¨      Completed field level samplings of more than 100 wetlands, restored few regional wetlands and carried out environmental assessment of placer mineral mining area. Performed oceanographic samplings in cruises.

¨      Designed and participated in field level socio-economic surveys of fishermen communities, climate resilient village development programs, implementation of climate action plans and habitat status assessments

Laboratory Research

¨      Process developed for chemical & enzymatic delignification of biomass, microbial treatment of effluent, solid state fermentation and phytotoxic studies, while products development includes lignin, enzymes, biochar and biofuel.

¨      Performed analysis using FTIR,XRD,SEM and oceanographic equipment

Associated Research

¨      Coinvestigated with other scholars on research framework design, experimentation, analysis and interpretation of results for climate change modeling, geospatial assessment of habitats and fisheries linkage research.

¨      Instrumental in setting up Climate Modeling lab

Resource Person

¨      Functioned as invited resource person, provided training, technical guidelines and technology demonstrations to multiple stakeholders.
