Star-Oddi is a manufacturing company of miniature data loggers. The Data Storage Tag (DST) has been developed and manufactured since 1993, and is used for fish tagging, for migration, behavioral and physiology studies. The DST logger is also used for coastal and environmental monitoring, as well as fishing gear studies. The sensors available are temperature, depth, salinity, compass, tilt and heart rate. Star-Oddi has also developed the Underwater Tagging Equipment (UTE) for tagging deepwater species such as redfish.
