Research Scientist in the project of Larval Fish Production and Dispersal in critical habitats of coastal East Africa (FLAPSEA). It’s a collaboration between Tanzania, Sweden and Kenya (MASMA project funded by WIOMSA) (400,000 USD). I was Involved in phytoplankton, zooplankton and fish larvae community analysis in different coastal habitats and modelling of fish larvae recruitment, connectivity, and dispersal under changing climatic conditions.
Culture of Marine Plankton as Potential Source of Food for Marine Finfishes. The project was funded by Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) through Bilateral Marine Science programme at the Institute of Marine Sciences (12,000 USD).
Research Scientist in the project titled “Assessment of consumption patterns and factors associated to underconsumption of Tuna and tuna-like species in Tanzania” funded by Deep Sea Fishing Authority (50,000 USD). Involves in social part and determination of micronutrient levels in commonly caught tuna and tuna-like along with fish species of primary interest.
Research Assistant at TAFIRI (Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute) on the project Titled; Responses of Biological Productivity and Fisheries to Changes in Atmospheric and Oceanographic Conditions in the Upwelling Region Associated with the East African Coastal Current. (MASMA/OP/2016/02) WIOMSA (Western Indian Ocean Marine Sciences Association), Coordinated by Dr. Shigalla Mahongo. I was involved in data collection, plankton analysis and report writing.
Research Assistant in the project of Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) funded by WWF (Coordinated by Dr. Lugendo Blandina, Senior Lecturer University of Dar es Salaam).
