Sargassum
I combine an Executive MBA (Erasmus University Rotterdam / RSM) with hands-on experience in coastal and nature-related projects and collaborative Sargassum research with marine biologists. My main interest is on the implementation side of ocean governance: helping institutions and initiatives design feasible strategies, governance arrangements and financing models to protect and restore Marine Protected Areas, including areas beyond national jurisdiction under the BBNJ Agreement. Through my company Falx Aurea, I aim to bridge science, policy and operations by offering strategic advice, project and programme management, and information management services for organisations working on MPAs, coastal resilience and nature-based solutions.
