Activities
My research activities span across biological oceanography, marine ecology, limnology, fisheries, and aquaculture, with a strong emphasis on research support services. I have contributed to projects focused on biodiversity monitoring and ecosystem assessments in both marine and freshwater environments, including field sampling of water and biological materials to study species composition and ecological health. In fisheries and aquaculture, I have supported research on stock assessments, farming systems, and sustainable practices, providing both field and data management assistance. My work in pollution studies has involved water quality monitoring, evaluating impacts on aquatic ecosystems, and supporting mitigation initiatives. A significant part of my role has been research support services, where I assist with sample processing, laboratory analyses, data entry, and technical reporting, ensuring smooth collaboration between scientists and stakeholders.
Skills
I have a strong background in marine and environmental science, with experience in both field and laboratory research. My skills include environmental sampling (water, sediment, and biological material), biodiversity assessment, and ecological monitoring. In the laboratory, I am proficient in molecular biology techniques such as DNA extraction and PCR, and I have a growing interest in applying bioinformatics tools for biodiversity analysis. I am also experienced in scientific communication, having contributed to reports and presentations for both academic and stakeholder audiences. Beyond technical expertise, I bring strong collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, which enable me to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams. These skills position me to contribute actively to the eDNA training and to apply its outcomes in advancing ocean research and conservation in my region.
Comment(s)
These experiences align closely with the application of environmental
DNA (eDNA) as a modern tool for biodiversity monitoring, pollution
tracking, and sustainable fisheries management.
