Marine and Coastal Engineering

At the University of Lagos, I am an educator in the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics, where I train students in Hydrography, marine surveying, and Data analysis and management. I also contribute to the World Bank-funded Centre of Excellence (Sustainable Procurement, Environmental and Social Standards Enhancement) by teaching courses on Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Environment and population. In addition to my academic role, I serve as a consultant for various hydrographic and marine companies where i have involved in several marine surveying from Bathymetry survey using single beam and multi beam echosounders, seabed scanning using side scan sonar and Magnetometer and Geophysical survey using sub bottom profiler etc.

I have extensive experience using various hydrographic equipment and software. My project experience includes the hydrographic survey of the Lagos Lagoon and creeks, the hydrographic survey of the Commodore Channel sea entrance, and hydrodynamic studies of the Lagos Lagoon.
