In my substantive role as Deputy Director, I manage the department’s day‑to‑day operations, lead HR and team development, coordinate multi‑agency planning, and guide the creation and revision of emergency plans. My work spans grant writing, policy development, operational oversight, and strategic alignment, ensuring that resources, people, and partnerships are positioned to deliver maximum impact.
I’ve built my career on strengthening systems, elevating standards, and improving how communities prepare for and navigate crises. Whether coordinating incident management, shaping long‑term resilience strategies, or refining internal processes, I bring a steady, solutions‑driven approach grounded in real‑world experience.
Outside the emergency management sphere, I’m also a saxophonist and bandleader, managing creative teams and complex productions—skills that translate directly into leadership, communication, and team cohesion in high‑pressure environments.
