Activities
I'm a researcher at the the Istituto di Scienza e
Tecnologie dell’Informazione A. Faedo (ISTI), an institute of the
National Research Council of Italy (CNR). I got my PhD in Computing
Systems at the University of Siena. My research interests include:
heterogeneous architectures, productivity-oriented high-level
abstraction mechanisms, hardware accelerators, parallel algorithms,
distributed systems, e-infrastructures, and virtual research
environments. I participated in various R&D projects involving
high-productivity solutions to program heterogeneous architectures,
hardware accelerators, haptic algorithms in virtual and augmented
reality environments, pharmaceutical supply chain simulation, and research infrastructures.
