I am involved in operational observation activities such as maintenance of Wave rider buoy (WRB) networks along the Indian coast, Automatic weather station (AWS) in various research and commercial vessels, ship-based wave height meter, INCOIS glider Mission and ensure to provide the near surface meteorological and ocean observation datasets to modelling community for the improvement of the Ocean State Forecast. Moreover, I have accomplished more than 200 deployment and buoys recoveries under this maintenance activities. Further, I have also involved in ballasting, testing, Sea trail and real deployment / recovery of deep-sea gliders and also piloted these gliders.

1. Deployments/ recoveries and maintenance of Ocean Observing platforms such as Wave rider buoy, Glider, Wave drifters, etc.,
2. Desing and planning of standard mooring line/structure for moored observatory systems.
3. Planning, design and integration of additional sensor in wave rider buoy system including power management. 
4. Development of drift alert system for wave rider buoy.
