I assist the Sustainability Manager in managing funds for conservation projects and initiatives. This involved collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective allocation of funds to relevant causes. We support the development and implementation of sustainability policies and agreements and conduct research to inform sustainability strategies and decision-making
Here is a breakdown of the activities:
1. Fund Management:
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing funding proposals from conservation organizations and projects
- Help manage the allocation of funds to approved projects and initiatives
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of funded projects
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., investment, risk management) to ensure alignment with sustainability goals
- Engage with external stakeholders (e.g., NGOs, community groups, industry partners) to build relationships and gather feedback
- Facilitate communication and information-sharing between stakeholders
3. Policy and Agreement Development:
- Research and analyze industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability
- Assist in drafting and reviewing sustainability policies and agreements
- Help ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
4. Research:
- Conduct research on various sustainability topics (e.g., climate change, biodiversity, ocean conservation)
- Analyze data and reports to inform sustainability strategies and decision-making
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in sustainability practices
