Pre is currently a University Research Associate at the Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanology College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. As a research associate, her field of interests include fish species diversity in vulnerable marine ecosystems such as mangroves, seagrass and coral reefs, among others.
She has an extensive background in community organization for marine conservation, science communication and marine protected areas management. She is a scubadiver, recently certified freediver, mountaineer -- a ridge-to-reef adventurer, and today she will share with us their experience in the Sisid Sibuyanon Project -- A community marine biodiversity assessment and monitoring using a citizen science approach called "Alwan."
