Activities
Coordinate daily community-led activities of the different programmes (Ocean ambassadors, Locally
Managed Marine Areas, Alternative livelihood);
• Manage and coordinate the work of conservation field officers to ensure effective mobilization of
local fishing communities and project implementation;
• Liaison with governmental authorities at district level to ensure cooperation among parties operating
on Marine conservation and fisheries;
• Supervise budgets, expenditures and highlight any discrepancies;
• Compile project achievements and measurables for reporting purposes
• Manage team work schedule, weekly budgets and receipts;
• Organize workshops and exchange visits at community level and national level;
• Manage team’s interpersonal relationships
• Working on the baseline study of the Biology of Billfishes in Mozambique
• Conduct underwater data collection

Simple and concise verbal communication,
• Passionate and comfortable with public presentations,
• Profound knowledge of visual communication tools (PowerPoint, Prezi, google drive,
Canva),
• Highly interest in following scientific projects and publications in the realm of marine
sciences,
