Professional oriented to the study and conservation of the Humboldt currents system through research on numerical models, remote sensing, and paleoclimatic reconstructions. Working on ocean-atmosphere coupling processes and its climatic variability under different forcing. Interested in local impacts and teleconnections of El Niño events.

As a personal contribution to the promotion of sciences and STEM’s careers in my country, I participate since 2017 in “Clubes de Ciencias – Perú” as an evaluator charged. This initiative consists in short and intense workshops in which young students can interact with international and local researchers for developing a practical and brief project related to sciences.
