Activities
I conduct research on marine ecology and fisheries with emphasis on ecological approaches to fisheries and on the correlates of the spatial and temporal distribution of demersal fishes and of the distribution of demersal fish diversity Also, I teach courses on marine ecology and on quantitative ecology at the Biology Department of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogota, where I work as assistant professor
Skills
I am fluent in English and German. I do have working experience with R which I use for my research and teaching. I have lived in Europe during my PH.D (Dr.rer.nat.) study thus I am able to adapt to different societal settings and work with colleagues of varied cultural backgrounds.
