I was selected for Nippon Foundation of Japan Fellowship programme in 2018. Under this fellowship programme, I was assigned to Marine Law Research Institute, Faculty of Law in Istanbul Bilgi University to carry out my Advanced, Academic and Research study. I completed my research on "A new instrument for challenges for the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity beyond the areas of national jurisdiction and its implications for South Asian region under the guidance of Professor Nilufer Oral.
