Involved in BYCAM (Bycatch Assessment and Mitigation) project which entailed collecting data about bycatch (especially sharks,rays, dolphins, turtles and other vulnerable megafauna) caught in artisanal gillnets and line fisheries in Mombasa (fish market landing site).
Involved in entering and managing the same data (BYCAM data) from seven landing sites distributed along the Kenyan Coast.  
Was involved in AfrOBIS work filtering out marine species, their locations and other useful information from Kenyan journals, publications and technical reports to get a meaningful dataset.
