Adil S. Omer obtained his B.Sc.
with honours in 1998 and M.Sc. in 2007
in fisheries sciences at the University of Juba- Sudan. Currently he is a researcher at the Division of Marine Biology & Fisheries Research, Institute of Marine
Research, Red Sea University.
Mr. Ahmed major research areas
include fisheries biology
(specifically sex reversal phenomenon), ecology and biological Oceanography. For many years he has been worked as a teaching
staff (Faculty member) at Department of Environment & Natural
Resources, Faculty of Applied
Sciences at the Red Sea University taught many subjects; Vertebrate & In
Vertebrate Zoology, Fisheries Biology, Research Methodology and Introduction to Biology and
Environmental Culture.
On the
other hand, he has been appointed as a consultant to carry out Environmental Impact
Assessment(EIA), monitoring and analysis of ecological data
using statistical packages like R software; SPSS for analyzing
ecological data and
methods
for
communicating
ecological research findings.
He is a member of numerous national and international scientific
organizations including the Partnership for Observation
of the Global Ocean (POGO),UNESCO World Heritage Center, American Fisheries
Society, Ocean Expert, Ocean
