I am an experimental field ecologist with experience and particular interest in broader pictures, such as the functions and inter-linkages of intertidal/forest ecosystems and species and the processes and perturbations that affect these. Factors that influence the relationships between biodiversity, ecosystem function/services and forest carbon sequestration fascinate me. I believe that whereas technological advancement s are responsible for the current environment problems, the solution in mitigating and stopping destruction lies in the use of technological tools.
