- 1 - OPENING
- 2 - OPERATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE NEAMTWS
- 2.1 - ARCHITECTURE, TOOLS AND COOPERATION FOR RTWC
The group is requested to refine the architecture, tools and cooperation for RTWCs, as elements of the technical end to end operational structure of the NEAMTWS. • Presentation of the status of plan of each RTWC and NTWC (France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Germany and Morocco) • Status of the implementation of seismic and sea-level network (WG2 and WG3 chairs) • Definition of the messages corresponding to the decision matrices adopted at ICG/NEAMTWS III in Lisbon taking into account the recommendation on watch and advisory • First discussion on the area of responsibilities of each RTWC - 2.2 - DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE NEAMTWS NETWORK – CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS
The group is requested to discuss an outline for an operations guide for the NEAMTWS network, with the involvement of all possible contributors and taking into account existing examples e.g. from IOTWS and PTWS, as appropriate. - 2.3 - COMMUNICATION MECHANISMS, DATA CODING AND REDUNDANCY
The group is requested to discuss communication means and standards for both, tsunami watch messages and data, while the operational system requires sustainability and redundancy of communication mechanisms/channels. - 3 - PROGRESS MATRIX: IMPLEMENTATION OF THE OPERATIONAL PART OF NEAMTWS
Participants are requested to discuss the template and prepare their contributions to the progress matrix for the next meeting. - 4 - FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Discussion on elements for the preparation of a draft proposal for external financial support. - 5 - CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Definition of a List of Tasks for the fourth TT meeting: Chairs, MS, IOC. - 6 - NEXT MEETING: DATES AND LOCATION
