-To respond if any case of tsunami threat in Oman coast based on the current capacity before NTWS is in operation. -To ensure the tsunami warning messages are reacted on properly by approved procedures, by authorities and supported by a Royal Decree, the law, regulation and infrastructures -To ensure the content of tsunami warning messages are received and correctly understood by the authorities for immediate prompt action -To ensure the content of tsunami warning messages are received and correctly understood by public -To understand the role of NMHEWS of DGMAN and NCCD as well as relevant authorities -To develop reliable communication system and other infrastructure to support the mechanism of rapid dissemination system -To have the agreement on the SOP
