Somali Society for Marine Conservation is a science and education based non-governmental organization and non-profit public society governed by board of members based in Mogadishu city, Somalia. The organization was founded by a group of ocean enthusiasts specialized in the different aspects of marine sciences. However, it is apparent that there is a dire and urgent need in the advocacy for the marine environment in the Somali region.
