Activities

The Innoceana association focuses its activities in the marine conservation sector and has recognized experience in the field of technology applied to underwater conservation and training in this area. Its main mission is the protection of the oceans, and its objectives are to educate and raise awareness through projects on the matter of conservation applied to underwater ecosystems.

It is based in Costa Rica (North Pacific Ocean) and in the Canary Islands (North Atlantic Ocean, Macaronesia) and Thailand, Koh Tao (Indian Ocean) developing various projects for monitoring underwater grasslands, marine invertebrates, fish, 3D mapping of corals and caves, water quality, assessment of threats of anthropogenic origin, and awareness of the population about the wonders that the great blue hides.
