More than 15 years of expertise in research and innovation projects. From 2008 to 2010, he served the European Commission, JRC – IHCP as a senior researcher. He serves on the scientific board of the Ligurian Cluster of Marine Technology DLTM (www.dltm.it) and the board of Consortium TRAIN (innovation in energy and transport management, www.consorziotrain.org). He is member and serves several international board expert teams and steering committees on big data management, data standards, in situ/ex situ operational data flow. He is the EMODnet Physics coordinator and CMEMS DU deputy coordinator (EMODnet and CMEMS are key European Commission environmental monitoring programs).
