Activities
As a research assistant on the Mangroves as Nature-Based Solutions to Coastal Hazards in Eastern Ghana (MANCOGA) Project, my responsibilities include both field and laboratory work. In the field, I conduct water sampling and sediment core sampling. In the laboratory, I perform nutrient analysis, measure DIC, DOC, and heavy metals. Additionally, I utilize an isotope ratio mass spectrometer to analyze shell and water samples for pollution source detection, ecological studies, and paleoenvironmental reconstruction.
Skills
As a professional in the field of environmental research, I specialize in field sampling and laboratory analysis. I am skilled in using various instruments including microscopes, isotope ratio mass spectrometers, spectrophotometers, etc. My expertise extends to data analysis, allowing me to provide valuable insights into environmental phenomena and contribute to research projects effectively.
