I have a PhD in marine biology. The thesis focused on the "Effectiveness of Marine Protected Areas as a tool for restoring marine resources and managing fish stocks: the West African experience". I am continuing to work on the role of MPAs as a tool for conserving marine biodiversity. I am also working on issues related to marine biodiversity in the face of global change.
