I work as a weather
forecaster and Observer in Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara
province of Indonesia for around 4 years. My job description as a weather
forecaster and observer such as:
1. Make a regional
Weather Forecast and Forecast for Aerodrome operational needs ( TAF and trend
forecast for METAR, SPECI, or local aerodrome takeoff and landing)
2. Monitoring the
weather through the Weather Satellite and the Weather Radar
3. Make the weather
early warning for the responsibility region and also an aerodrome warning.
4. Make An extreme
weather analysis.
5. Collect the weather
information from the coordinator of the weather station.
6. Disseminate the
weather information through radio and television.
7. Updating the weather
data through the website.
8. Verify the weather
forecast for regional forecast and aerodrome forecast (TAF and trend forecast).
9. Performs public
weather information services.
10. Observe the upper
air through Pilot Balloon Observation.
11. Observe the weather
and submit the weather data in the observation hour.
12. Submitting and
Disseminating Synop code, Upper air code, METAR, SPECI, Met Report , also
Special Report.
