1.) Serve as shift Duty Forecaster for Regional weather forecasting that    formulates local weather forecast, special weather forecast and Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF).

2.) Serves as Forecaster that formulates thunderstorm and heavy rainfall warnings for Rainfall warning system (Nowcasting) of Visayas

3.) Disseminates regional weather forecast, tropical cyclone bulletin, heavy rainfall and thunderstorm warning and other weather services through broadcast media, and other platforms

4.) Operate, perform corrective/preventive maintenance, repair and calibrate meteorological equipment and basic instruments.

 5.) Conduct lecture if necessary and perform other duties as required
