I have experience in working on Sponges and their associated fauna and have done some work on benthic marine fauna (meio and macrofuana)
I have also worked on Elasmobranchs and conducted an independent survey on Guitarfish in the Andaman Islands, India, to find out about existing threats to guitarfish from fisheries.
Currently, I am a POGO scholar at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Germany.

I have experience in working on board vessels for collecting data on cetaceans and collecting water and sediment samples. I also have worked at fish landing sites and with fisherfolk. I have some laboratory experience as well and have commendable skills in the microscopic analysis of water and sediment samples.
