Programme Manager for the Indian Scientific Expeditions to Southern Ocean.
Responsibilities: Planning, coordination and implementation of the expeditions to Southern Ocean .
Achievements: Since 2004 ten expeditions were implemented till date.
Based on the data collected from these expeditions more
than 90 papers were published in the National and International journals
including special issues in current Science and Deep Sea Research II etc. Eight
Pd. D. degrees were awarded. Nearly 80 papers were presented in
National/International conferences.
Future plan: Expeditions are planned for next several years with the main focus "
