Currently doing a Doctoral degree in Oceanography, specializing in marine spatial planning. Working as part of the Algoa Bay community of practice, developing a fine scale marine area plan for the Algoa Bay region. Developing a decision-support model to assist the management of marine spatial planning.
Obtained a Masters degree in Physical Oceanography at the University of Cape Town in 2017 and have obtained a certificate in environmental impact assessments through EOH Coastal and Environmental Services and Rhodes University, as well as a certificate in ocean governance through IOI-SA (International Ocean Institute of Southern Africa).
