I am the In-Charge of Geodetic Detachment of Survey of Bangladesh. Undre Geodetic Detachment  a Tidal Observation Station is Maintained at Bay of Bengla. The station is used by both Survey of Bangladesh and IOC (Hoaii University Sea Level Centre for Indian Ocean Tsunami Early Warrning System). The collected data (Sea Water Surface Reading) is used for Mean Sea Level (MSL) Determination and Sea Level Rise Minitoring by Survey of Bangladesh. The data is also provided to various national and International organizations for their Research purpose.
