A fisheries research scientist with ten years of professional experience and achievements in project/programme management and research design (from designing, planning implementation and evaluation). Mathew is looking forward to developing skills and expertise in research (in both quantitative and qualitative research), exploring the data and analysing, research and evaluation, and creating a good relationship in management or better influencing policy change. I have been devoting much of my time to work more on the small-scale fisheries (SSFs) of coastal Tanzania to understand how coastal communities are coping and adapting to a changing environment
