I
have completed my post doctoral study from USA after completing PhD and Master
Degrees from India in Marine Biology. I have more than 25 years research
experience in marine environmental studies and marine fisheries covering the
geographical regions such as: Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Arabian Gulf, Red Sea
and Puget Sound (Washington, USA).
Currently, I am working as Research Scientist I/ Professor in the Marine
Studies Section of Center for Environment and Water, Research Institute, King
Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (www.kfupm.edu.sa), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
During
1986-2008, I worked as Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist in the Central
Marine Fisheries Research Institute in India. I have proven ability to work in
a team to achieve organizational goals in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic
environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity. I have published around
60 peer reviewed research papers and attended several symposiums, conferences,
workshops and public consultations and presented scientific papers, lectures
and speeches in national and international venues.
