This document has been prepared in response to IOC Decision A-33/3.4.2(III) that established an intersessional Working Group on Advancing Ocean Data Sharing for Sustainable Development in Areas within National Jurisdiction.

This document conveys the progress report of the Working Group established by the IOC Assembly at its 33rd session in 2025 for the information of this Executive Council, including A call to Action: Towards Equitable Ocean Data Sharing.

The document invites comments on the Call for Action: Towards Equitable Ocean Data Sharing.
